An NYPD detective was arrested for drunk driving in Brooklyn early Sunday morning, according to police. Detective Jerry St. Louis, 42, slammed into another car in front of the 78th Precinct Building near the Barclays Center just before 1 a.m., according to officials. The NYPD wouldn’t say whether the car he hit was moving or parked. St. Louis’ fellow officers charged him with driving while impaired by alcohol — an offense punishable by possible jail time, license revocation and a hefty fine.
