From an article on the sting operation and arrests last April, it would be interesting to know the penalties for the other two who were busted. I'll bet they didn't get off nearly as easily:

The GHOST [Genesee Human Oppression Strike Team] team also arrested a 37-year-old laborer who allegedly arranged a sexual encounter with an undercover officer posing as a 15-year-old. Swanson said the suspect showed up to the meeting with a bottle of vodka.

A Grand Blanc man also is facing charges after the weekend GHOST sweep.

Both of those suspects are facing two felony sex charges, which carry a possible sentence of up to 20 years in prison, and another felony with a maximum of four years in prison.​

Benjamin Reinhart, a disgraced officer with Genesee County received some great news this week. Despite being caught up in a child sexual trafficking sting, he won’t have to go to jail and he won’t have to register publicly as a sex offender. Reinhart was a corrections officer for the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office.
