City officials confirmed Tuesday that Loveland Police Department officer Paul Ashe has been placed on unpaid administrative leave following an independent investigation of the department. Loveland human resources director Julia Holland said Ashe was placed on unpaid administrative leave as a result of the independent investigation that was conducted on the department. The investigation, led by Jensen Hughes, is meant to examine the entire department and its policies, practices and procedures.
