How many law enforcement and human services agencies can drop the ball on one case? Meanwhile AT LEAST SEVEN children continued to be abused for TWO DECADES!
  • July, 2004, molestations reported to Wyoming Department of Family Services
  • July, 2007, Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office, Colorado, "explicitly chose not to follow up on other alleged abuse"
  • May, 2009, thru February, 2015, at least 6 additional reports to the Arapahoe County Department of Human Services
  • February, 2015, two allegations made to Colorado Springs Police Department, which forwarded the reports to the Castle Rock Police Department (Castle Rock, Colorado) and to the Aurora Police Department (Aurora, Colorado)
That adds up to FOUR law enforcement agencies and TWO human services agencies that dropped ball, while children continued to be abused for two decades.

Decades of alleged child abuse in Colorado — and possibly in many other states — recently resulted in the arrests of three suspects. But according to court records obtained by local journalists, authorities knew about the alleged abuse for well over 15 years. Allan Richard Long, 51, now faces 41 total counts related to the sexual abuse of children, a press release by the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Department indicates.
