A city police officer allegedly struck a man during an argument, according to a newly released warrant. Marlena Ofiara, 30, was arrested Nov. 5 and is charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault. The warrant in the case, initially sealed, was filed in the Meriden courthouse. In the affidavit, Wallingford Officer Christopher Spencer wrote that a man, identified as Victim 1 in the document, walked into the department on Oct. 24.
