A five-term Louisiana sheriff was convicted Monday of multiple counts of sex crimes, including aggravated rape, and is expected to spend the rest of his life in prison. Jack Strain, who spent two decades as the sheriff of St. Tammany Parish before losing his election in 2015, was found guilty of four counts of aggravated rape, two counts of aggravated incest and one count each of sexual battery and indecent behavior with a juvenile, according to NOLA.com.
