A default warrant was issued Monday for a Norton police officer accused of driving drunk and leaving the scene of a crash after he failed to show up for his arraignment. At about 1 a.m. Saturday, Norton police responded to a crash at the intersection of West Main Street and Taunton Avenue. Responding officers were told that one of the vehicles involved, a black Dodge Durango, had left the scene.
